Description

During the summer of 1968, five years after their separation, Romy Schneider and Alain Delon met up at Ramatuelle to film Jacques Deray’s La Piscine. Released in January 1969, it was a box office success. It marked the first step in a long collaboration between the actor and the director. More importantly, it launched Romy Schneider’s French acting career. She won her first César five years later for her role in That Most Important Thing: Love by Andrzej Zulawski.
