In September 1961, Jean-Paul Belmondo was in the midst of shooting ‘Cartouche’ by Philippe de Broca, which prevented the sportscar enthusiast from attending the Salon de l’Auto, slated for the same dates. So the sportscars were brought to him and parked here on the set of a neighbouring film shoot: that of ‘Un cheval pour deux’, directed by Jean-Marc Thibault. The actor strikes a pose with three Austin-Healey models: a Sprite, an MKII and a coupe.
