Description

Though Michelangelo Antonioni’s ‘Zabriskie Point’ was mocked and critically patronized at the time of its release in 1968, the counterculture epic has since become a cult classic. It captures the hedonistic headtrip of 1960s Los Angeles through its docu-surrealist, experimental style. The director is photographed here by Bruce Davidson—known in part for capturing the spirit of post-war youth culture—during the making of the film.
